Rare for December in Vancouver

So today I took the rental car out for a spin – had to get a few things done, but I also needed to stop and appreciate the gorgeous day we had. A little chilly, sure, but the sun was out!

I stopped in a park on the University Endowment Lands that is a little rest stop for travellers. When I got there I was a bit disappointed because the sun was so bright that I thought I wouldn’t be able to take a decent picture. I aimed my camera and shot – and got some great photos that I’m pretty happy with. That doesn’t happen everyday.

I feel so much better getting rid of some of my stuff: 1 load of garbage to the dump, 1 load of cds and lps to friends, one 1/2 load consisting of a plant and computer to another friend, and three bags of clothing donated to the thrift store.

I’m feeling more mobile already.
